Triad's
Mission Statement

It is our mission to provide carefully planned, effective and caring services to children and families in the foster care system. Our goal is to address foster care services through a three-sided approach, which includes assessment, intervention, and permanency.  Our team of dedicated parents and skilled professionals are committed to providing the tools and support essential to children, if they are to develop successfully into healthy adults.

Triad Family Services believes in teaming together to utilize the strengths of Resource Parents, Triad Social Workers, biological families, and community resources to care for children in placement.  As a Resource Parent, you are an integral part of this professional team working to help children at risk. We can best help children by keeping them safe and providing a nurturing environment while working toward the goals of the child’s case plan. The case plan may be to reunify the child with their biological parent(s) or a relative, or it may be guardianship, adoption, or whatever other form of permanency is set forth in their case plan.

TRUST & RESPECT: Triad’s foundation is built upon trust and respect.  We believe in building relationships, respect with each of our Resource Parents, Triad Social Workers, clients, and the community that is based on these ideals.

FAMILY: Family is first. Triad provides high-quality homes to provide services to Child Protective Services, Family Court, and Probation Departments. Triad’s team of parents and professionals are dedicated to providing a warm nurturing environment necessary for young people to thrive and feel confident about themselves and their futures. One of our primary goals is to protect our assets, which is, our Resource families.

SERVICES: Some of the resources provided by Triad include but are not limited to regular visits to the home by a Triad Social Worker, C-PReP (Child Placement Resource Plan) meetings to assess needs and direct resources, Independent Living Planning (ILP), visitation monitoring and support, and 24 hour on-call availability.

As stated in the introduction, part of our initial task with each new child is to develop and implement a treatment plan based on a thorough assessment of that child’s needs, utilizing agency resources and services as well as identifying resources available in the community.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES: Other resources for treatment of and assistance to foster children are available throughout the County for Mental Health Services. Triad assumes an active role in ensuring the needs of children are met. Mental health services may include specialized individual or group counseling, psychiatric treatment, hospitalization for stabilization purposes, Wrap-Around Services, Regional Centers and higher levels of care, such as residential treatment.
