Foster a Child
Triad Family Services partners with county agencies to support children placed in foster care by the court or other county programs. We care for children of all ages—from newborns to young adults up to 21 years old.
Each child in our program is placed with us through a county referral. Our goal is to provide safe, stable, and supportive homes that meet each child’s unique needs while they are in our care.

WHAT IS A RESOURCE FAMILY?
California law has changed the term from Foster Parent to Resource Family Parent. Triad Family Service is now licensed to approve and manage resource families.
A resource family is any individual, couple, or family who wants to provide care to a related or unrelated child (or children) who is under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court, or otherwise in the care of a county child welfare agency or probation department. A resource parent is responsible for taking care of the needs and well being of the foster child(or children) while they are placed in their home.
